Fastlancer is an independent tool collection for freelancers and small businesses. No corporation behind it — just self-employed pros from Berlin who use the same tools every day that show up on this site.
Our goal: less searching, more focus. You should see what's worth your time at a glance — without clicking through twenty listicles that all sound the same.
How We Pick Tools
Honest upfront: we don't hands-on test every one of the 700+ tools on this site. Some we use daily (Notion, Toggl Track, Brevo). Others we curate carefully from publicly available information — provider pages, pricing data, user reviews, hands-on reports. What's labelled "Recommended" here we either use ourselves or have vetted thoroughly for our audience.
Our criteria: usability (how fast can you get productive?), feature depth (does it cover what freelancers actually need?), value for money (is the subscription worth it for a solo operator?), and support & provider trust (does the provider actually help when something goes wrong?).
Some recommendations are affiliate links — that does not influence the selection. If we don't like a tool, we don't recommend it. Partner program or not.

Our recommendations are based on hands-on experience, user feedback, and thorough research.
